Could i claim back my paypal gift?

Basically I got scammed $5 and then they logged, could I get this back?(I have evidence)

Also could I get $200 back? Yet again logged, but sent the money to another account then delete the paypal account.. theres nothing I can do, right?:/

 

first of all you should prolly post report on dispute forum to warn other sythe members of this so called scammer , then call up paypal maybe they can free the funds he has sent to the other account and somehow wire it back if you have sufficeint proof

 

Generally, if you call paypal and tell them what happened and you were actually scammed, they will return the money to you. Tell them what happened and that the payment was sent as a gift because the seller wanted it to be impossible to chargeback and avoid fees.

You'll get it back. Just talk to a supervisor. Some of their employees will tell you there's nothing you can do and cut you off. Just keep trying until you get a supervisor.

 

If you report it to paypal there is a slim chance You will get it back thats why its a gift so it cannot be refunded.

 

Gift payments are not reserved, unless of an anuthorised account access.
Next time if you are dealing with an untrusted person - do not send it as a gift.
