SCAMS via Fake websites? and with @jagex.com e-mails!

Well I just received this message 2 hours ago:

I got 2 questions -
1. How they get a @jagex.com domain when they do NOT own the jagex.com domain?
2. Why aren't them like sued by jagex?

 

They've used an email spoofing program or website to fake the email address, and it's difficult for Jagex to track down these people anyway which is why they aren't being sued by Jagex.

 

Can you give me an example of email spoofing program ?

 

I'd rather not since it might encourage you to do the same as the scammers are doing, but it won't be difficult to find one yourself if you used Google.

 

got same email on 3 different emails.

 

How do they get all these e-mails?

I got it twice.

 

I got one too! I literally went on runescape and went into my offences, thank god!
