Explanation of the trade:

1. Ordered maxing services from 2146 to 2277 for $345. Quoted timeframe was 12-16 weeks. Order start date was 13 Feb 2024
2. Payment was to be made in 3 instalments of $115 each. Only ToS agreed were (imgur.com). His general ToS states Estimates are just estimates but I never had to accept it nor did we discuss that.
3. [25 Feb] Progress was insane the first 2 weeks. We connected better personally hence made full payment (imgur.com)
4. [28 Feb] Progress slowed down due to Lukkeis’s IRL situation (imgur.com) - Redacted some as I rather not divulge into his personal details
5. [7 Apr] Another sync where I raised progress is slow. Was told IRL situation hasn’t improved (imgur.com)
6. [10 Apr] Requested refund on undone services as timelines won’t be hit (imgur.com)
7. [14 Apr] He says he’s unable to refund as he has to refund another customer due to delays (imgur.com)
8. Anyway, I didn’t want to add on to his stress so I backed away to let him sort his issues. I was told he got better end of April
9. [15 May] I asked for a refund as progress is still very slow since he claimed to feel better (imgur.com | imgur.com)
10. Offered to release him from his obligation without any refund if he can get 99 RC by a certain date as I had someone ready to buy the account if 99RC was achieved by that date (imgur.com | imgur.com). It was missed and my sale didn’t go through. Explored other options where I buy his Iron or have him build an alt QPC to compensate for the remaining balance but nothing materialised.
11. [15 June]: We are currently sitting at 2217 Total where some of the levels were done by me despite paying for it. For the last 30 days, I can see 18 days of work - Assuming 8 hours per day @ XP/h that’s lower than reported on Reddit or Wiki (imgur.com)

His progress from March to end-April (~1.5 months) was pretty much close to nothing. I was flexible enough when he needed it and when he got better, being told he's busy hanging out with friends, getting haircut or w/e after not working weekdays is not acceptable.

How they scammed: No scam, just poor performance. Always had access to $500+ bank value.

4 months of progress:

• 90 - 99 Runecrafting, Woodcutting, Thieving and Firemaking
• 93 - 95 Mining
• 95 - 99 Cooking
• 90 - 94 Farming

If this is considered reasonable progression by a Sythe Mod, feel free to close this report but I do not feel comfortable continuing with him after many failed promises and expectations and now this report.

You can only ask "How much longer" so many times before both parties get annoyed and I think we have reached that point.

My view is this:
I had medical emergency which made me unable to work and miss out on a lot of hours, client was kind enough to stay with me, I've gotten to the point of Runecrafting Bloods/Mining Motherlode portion of services, which is one of the slowest experience per hour in the game and client is disappointed in his own experience estimates which I tried to explain do not equate to real life playing 8 hours per day experience. I insisted how annoying the estimates are as not being realistic and he took my rudeness personally, not much else.

I don't have a problem with the client and don't think the report is needed here, I've been honest with him and accepted the option of a refund if progress doesn't pick up some time ago, but work hours from week to week been fine, it's the slow experience rates at fault here, can't really report Jagex on making some skilling methods slow.
