Valentine's Day flower rip-off.

Just because I made 4k+ from selling my gold, I felt like giving my fiancee some realllly nice flowers.

Count the roses.
There are THREE roses in the ones that were delivered lol.

A few flowers were broken lol. Like the stem was all fucked over.
They look like shit, and were already dying.
Last years flowers kept alive for a good 3 weeks.
These are on day 5, and almost ALL are dead.

I called and complained, and she said "They have to give substitutes since they did not have the right flowers"
So I replied with "Then why did they even try, I spent 80$ on flowers from you guys, and what I was delivered was 20$ grocery store flowers."

They are going to send replacements lol.

holy crap, go pick some daises from the garden and give me the money.

 

Like I said, I made over 4k from selling gp.
I bought everything I needed for my new apartment, and felt like she needed some nice flowers.
Instead.. we got ugly ass flowers.

Next time just go to the store and buy them.

That's why you dont buy online.

 

For future reference just go to the store and buy them there. Then you can actually see what your getting. It will also dry out quicker if you buy online for all the time it's in the mail. Sorry for the bad flowers though.

 

Crap! That's silly.

 

Lol what a bad business decision. Instead of telling our customer we are out of stock, lets just send him some shit and see what happens.

They said they would resend.. but its' been 2 days.
On the phone with them now they said "You didn't agree to request new flowers"
Dumb assholes.

Now, I'm asking for a refund.

$83 on flowers? I thought i was romantic by giving my right hand the night off.... Haha.

 

I was slick when I proposed.
She loves Disneyland, and her mother used to work there. And always got her in for free.
Once her mom moved to Arizona, she never was able to go again.

A friend of mine gave me 2 free tickets to Disneyland. And I had already had a ring and all that.

The day we went to Disneyland, the ring box wouldn't fit in my pocket... so I had to put it in her purse.
It was horrible!!! I had to keep taking her purse away every time she went into it haha.

I was going to wait until the firework show @ night, and do it in front of the castle with the fireworks going on, infront of thousands of people.
But no, I couldn't risk her finding it

So we went to "get our picture taken in front of the castle"
I told the camera guy what I was doin, I went and grabbed her purse to "put it down for the pic" and I grabbed the box.. got down.. and proposed.

She was so excited, it was amazing.
She started to cry and called everyone and let them know how much she loves me

It was the best day ever.

 

Haha. Thats class. I think i'm probably one of the least romantic guys around. God knows if i'm ever gonna get married. Lol. I'm only 21, time yet.


Also Congratz. Are you having an Rs Wedding? I joke. lol.

 

Even though you got ripped on the flowers, congrats on your new engagement bro.

 

I went to a flower shop, got about 5 stems of Stargazer lillies with multiple blooms on each + greenery for 40 bucks.

Was actually really cool because I got to pick out the flowers I wanted to get.

 

Yeah I would have to agree with everyone else on this. Next time just go to a florist that way you can actually see what you're buying. I would have been PISSED if I received that pile of crap lol. At least they are replacing it though, glad to hear you didn't get completely bent over.
