Need help with a website

I am wanting to make a website that is a runescape guide website like runehq and i know the type of layout i want i just cant make it happen, If anyone can actually help with the coding etc to do with the website , I can host it and then we can co-own it.

i made tones of websites i guess you will be coding in php and using mysql daterbase to drive data on your website though graphics wise i can help with though when i make websites for people i freelance graphic designers though i'll give the graphic stuff a shot

 

first off i advice, using a premade template on a standard CMS ( Joomla, wordpress, drupal etc) then when you progress look for custom cms and a custom design, jumping in to early on this sort of project is very unwise

 

Competing at all in this field of websites is unwise. Jagex have a list of all their official platinum, gold and silver fansites and there's quite a few of them. It would a hard task to match tip.it or runehq on SEO, which would be the main thing driving traffic to your site.

Exactly this.

It will be hard for you to compete without a lot of resources. It could be done, but not with just one person.

Look into something unique, or something where you won't have a lot of competing websites, or for a market where all/most of the current websites are terrible (design and or content wise).
