Real good scam emails holy shit

Holy shit this looked so real. I clicked on the link am i going to get hacked or something?

I got this email also. A few times

 

your fine as long as you did not sign in

 

It's someone around sythe trying to phish.

Jagex will never email you about your account. If people read the rules, no one would fall for these scams.

 

But people don't, thats why some of these phishing links are so successful.

People panic and go OMFG enter there info and...

This is a very common e-mail many including myself have been getting. Always hover over the link to see where it directs to, and look for the green bar next to the URL that tells you you're "secure." NEVER enter your information.

PS. Jagex will use Message Centre if they need to contact you - not your e-mail.

 

The Actual Email looks really legit .

 

As long as you don't put in anything you'll be fine. A good way to test these sites out is just putting in something like "sjdfhjklasdhf" in the username and password and seeing what happens.

 

And yet many people are still stupid and get their accounts taken by it, good game

 

lol some1 took a lot of time to make that site its dead accurate one even has it matching identically copyright info only thing is sad kids on here are emailing em out to people

 

ive got the exact same email 3 times. I clicked it the first time too -.-

 

They email you about registering your email address + doing a recovery

But yea, you'll be fine if you don't enter any information.
