Hello! So recently I figured that it was about time for me to get 85 slayer. It's been something I've dreamed of for a long time and with free trade and wilderness back I feel like I can truly invest time in this game without those annoying second thoughts.

Now, I've always LOVED to watch/read Progress logs, what kept me motivated during the long farm was reading/watching through other people's abyssal demon logs and loot histories.

And as of 16/02/11 I've finally been able to make my own log, call me crazy but I am going to kill these bastards a 100 days in a row. And why not share such an long and interesting adventure with the Sythe community that has kept me entertained when those Tasks became boring!

Q. What client are you using?

Q. Are you botting or playing Legit?
A. Legit all the way baby, Abyssal demons are so awesome legit becomes fun. (Tbh Idk why but ive got some insane motivation atm)


Q. If you are playing Legit, why do you hide so much in your pictures?
A. Simply because this is a cheating community and I don't know how safe it is to post my account info/stats here.


Q. How long did it take you to get 85 Slayer? And which master did you use?
A. It took me about 2 weeks from 70 Slayer. I used points to avoid as many slow tasks as possible, I sticked to cannon-able tasks mostly, every now and then I'd have to do a normal task. I managed to keep the average xp per day at around 200-300k slayer xp. Spending about 60k canon balls and 200 prayer potions as well as 3k sharks. (Yes, I did have a decent budget)


Q. What do you bring to your trips? and how many kills per trip?
A. I bring about 10-15 sharks, 1dds and a bunyip pounch (I dont need to eat while using a Bunyip) One trip lasts for about 90 minutes depending slightly. Getting roughly 140-170 kills per trip.


Q. How often do you get a whip drop? And would you say those are the main income here?
A. Well ACCORDING to Jagex the drop ratio is 1 whip per 514 kill, however, many people tend to forget that this is RNG. I've already experienced doing 4 trips without any loot at all and then in one trip I got 3 whips. Anyhow, the rune armour/herbs/runes provide a goodie 400k/hr so even if your out of luck you will still have some consistent cash.


Q. How many hours do you play per day?
A. About 4-10 hours. Yes, its quite a bit and it has consumed a lot of social life but right now I've been nearly gaming free for 2 years, my social life is at a place where I can easily have this 'Nerd-Break' w/o getting into too much problems.

16/02/11 -85 Slayer Picture


16/02/11 - 9,4m Looted Value after about 10 hours of non-stop killing Abyssals




17/02/11 - The progress goes on, nearly 98 defense now.



18/02/11 - 98 defense,96 constitution. Made a whopping 11m today at demons. 800k xp from 99 Defense now, hopefully ill reach 99 over the night.



19/02/11 250k from 99 defense now. Have had some internet connection problems, at least I got to see a dragon spear and med helm drop for once.



20/02/11 - 99 Defense guys, spent most of the day at barrows. Only had time for 1 Abyssal demon trip where I got no whips. So I decided to show you my 99 picture instead.

I always hear varying stories on how profitable 85 slayer is.

From the looks of it, it's very good money/xp.

Is it generally super crowded there?

 

damn whips dropped so much lol . good luck with this lad , pretty sure you will make some epic money while getting xps

 

Depending a bit. usually theres like 2-4 people there. (I'm at Slayer Tower)

Its really nice environment as well, the people there are experienced players and aren't the begging type, and if it gets too crowded you can easily just world hop (rarely occurs imo)

 

Might just get my slayer up to 85 soon (68 Currently )
