    My Eyesight: Failing?

Hey guys! This isn't really personal, but I don't know where else to put it. Anyways let me explain my problem. My eyesight seems to be.. "fizzy". Like when turning on a TV and it goes to the Invalid channel screen of it making an annoying noise and just kind of "fizzes" up. This is kind of like my eyesight. It really kind of seems like me eyes have millions of little pixels! It really isn't severe though, I mean I really don't even notice it unless I focus on it. I think perhaps the reason for this is spending too much time on the computer/TV. (No I'm not fat...surprisingly XD ). But anyways that's my problem, it doesn't really seem to be progressing but it is still worrying me. I think my real question is.. is it possible to go blind from staring at a screen too much? Please respond!

NOTE: I do not wear glasses, do you think I need them?

    hypertension helps cause cataracts

but that doesnt develope for many many years and only if you are straining your eyes looking at the screen.

I don't believe I have Cataracts after looking it up. It says Cataracts effects almost always people over 40. Or if it is in children it is had at birth or because of an eye injury or surgery. However I appreciate your response thank you very much :)

a common condition of the visual system is glaucoma, a buildup of pressure inside the eye that ultimately can destroy the optic nerve.

a second common condition of the visual system is age-related macular degeneration, a disorder that affects the retina, causing central vision loss.

I agree with these posters above, I would reccomend gettin it checked. Because I know someone who is currently goin blind at my college, apparently month by month he can see a significant decrease in sight. BTW this is a very rare and extreme case wont probably be to do with your eyesight. but yeah.. your eyes are very delicate tools which you got to get checked now and again.

    I know what you mean.

Every now and then, exceptionally sporadically, My eyes will just go all fuzzy and everything becomes pixelated then recedes with 1-2 seconds. Had this most of my life.

My vision is 20/20 however, and much better than most kids my age.

Go to an optician rather than asking for help on here.

Malak same here! I have good vision (20/20) and I have better vision then most people my age as well. I've also had this for as long as I can remember, and it really has gotten any worse, or better. Idk, maybe it's some sort of condition? I also go to my doctor on a regular basis and he hasn't said anything so Idk.
