How come I get requests from people I deleted?

So recently i've been having a problem on msn. I'm trying to delete 200 contacts from my list.. and I manage to do so (1 at a time it's annoying.) The problem is when I log out and back in I get requests from these people again (200 requests) so I have to click cancel on 200 requests in order to not readd them. I don't want to block these people either..

What can I do? I want to keep someone off my list when I delete them and not have to cancel their request every time I relog.
