Okay I have a quick question, (i think i can ask this?) can the developer console be buffer overflowed with shellcode to gain adminz. You would need a way to inject the code because the one right now on the ingame client it blows for this. So I would guess to achieve this the Powerbot client can be reverse engineered to inject shellcode into the console upon starting a bot or whatever. Then you could raise hell with the console having admin powers, similar to cheat codes or "god mode" in other normal games.
--off topic but closely related note--
My uncle knew a guy who did something similar and it worked on the old mud games back in 1998, he put a negative number for buying something or whatever and got a fence post error. Let just say with great power comes... GOD MODE!

Who has tried? Honestly never say never in life. I have seen much bigger companies get hacked and they were much more secure. But to be more on topic, this whole developer console seems to be a command prompt. With limited privileges sitting some where on a computer in a stupid sever farm where ever the hell it is. I mean to you or any hacker this seems to sound like a perfect challenge for them or whoever.

 

What is the dev console used for anyways? I accidentally pressed ` one time, and it popped up. I was confused lol

 

it is used to display hardware rendering and other shit , by typing in "displayfps" you can see how well your hardware is fairing (i am guessing they think this is a stress test for runescape like in gta iv?), the other command "renderer" is very interesting puts out info about hardware shit. Last but not least heap is for java memory information. .... Thanks man#@!#!@@ You just gave me the idea for the exploit! If i pop the heap data and make it different it will fuck up when it prints it out! So i can malfrom the data to exploit this THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH FOR THE IDEA THAT POPPED INTO MY HEAD!
