IP Reset?

So I have been running about 8 bots per day all mining P Ess on member worlds, and I have been xferring the pure ess off the account onto another account every morning... I made about 140M total off this, then I logged in one day, and all the bot accounts were reset to lvl 1 in everything, and the account I had been xferring the pure ess to, and then selling. Had been cleaned of all the RSGP, along with several other accounts I own that have not ever been botted, or even traded with the bot accounts. My brothers account was cleaned for all the RSGP also, and he never plays on my computer, only on his down stairs, and had no idea about my botting scheme I had going on...
I asked around a little bit, and sure enough heard that Jagex is now removing all rsgp they feel is botted for all accounts linked to 1 IP.

Thoughts or any news on this would be nice!

 

Sounds more like a virus and someone else cleaned out your accounts. I would say Jagex would give you some sort of message/temp ban.

 

No sometimes s reset does everything when the botting is really bad. it depends on the number of hours

 

True, they track the money (they said this on the forums).

You're brother might be innocent, but they cant tell the difference between your pc and your brothers since your both probably using the same IP address (if all pc's would have an IP on its own, then their wouldn't be enough IP's so they use 1 per router)

 

Looks like Jagex was smarter than we thought. If I did this and one of my accounts was innocent I would be so mad

 

Damn. Glad I took it easy on the botting then. Figured they would start doing stuff like this. They always talked about tracking trades etc back in the old days but never followed through. I guess they can finally back up their claim now.

 

That'd be a good explanation, but his stats got reset as well.
