How to become good staker ?

I would like to get some staking tips and also some help with my stats. I m currently developing a Range pure. I m new at this actually. I have 63 Range 58HP. Goal is to get HP up to 70 using SW so i have some extra health. Is that good enough to give me an advantage. Do i need any other stats to improve. I have noticed many rangers have str levels high.

Generally, you need high defense to be a successful staker, but it all comes down to personal preference. I have a bud who's 80 range/75 def. He convinces people to duel with no armor and only weapon and shield slot on. He uses Rune cbow and DFS and makes pretty good money.

 

So i should get my def up ? Like range 65, def 50 and HP 70. This means i will gain lot of combat - 22 combat levels... I m 45 atm , this would make me 67.

I hope someone has some more ideas, but that def idea even sounds reasonable, im just afraid i will lose my advatage as low combat lvl

If you are range staking, use MORRIGAN'S JAVS. They rip through everyone, when people think you are going to pull rune darts or something. Make sure you stake with special on.

Staking is waaaay too risky, completely based on luck. I wouldn't reccomend it at all especially since there are glitchers there (like me lol)

 

99 Defence is a saviour and strength, attack is fine to be 75 as you can use godswords, also 82/94 magic would also help.
