    Good Computer?

Just high 8gb+ of ram & an average cpu around 3.0 - 4.7 gHz.
For video card, you shouldn't really need a really good one since
    you're only playing runescape

    Good Computer?

i have spent my whole runescape time using 2gb of ram or less but my new laptop i just got has 4 and i was running 4-5 bots though out yesterday and the only time i had lag is when i would try to type somthing on sythe after clicking out of the bot client

so 4gb of ram is the most you will EVER need rs is so heavy based on the net so a better net connection is better to invest in then a 8 gb computor imo

    Good Computer?

To be honest it depends on how many bots you plan on running, I can run 4 rsbots scripts on my 2GB ram computer even with 1 of them doing SW in w44.

    My setup is:
    Intel E6750 duel core 2.4ghz
    2GB OCZ Ram
Ati sapphire radeon HD 4350 GFX (did have GeForce 8800GT but burnt out after 3 years of 24/7 running lol)

High RAM, Fast Processor. Run bots on all minimum and the graphics card shouldn't matter too much.

Anything over $300 will run RuneScape fine. Don't get a Mac, it's over priced.

Ram + Cpu is what you need - the gfx card will do nothing

    Good Computer?

The average CPU is nowhere near 3.0-4.7Ghz lol. Unless you mean an old single core overclocked to like 3.5Ghz, which hardly even compares to newer processors at the same speed.

Umm, you don't know what you're talking about. Plain and simple.

    At the original post:
Look for something affordable, with at least 3-4GB of RAM, and at least a dual-core processor. I'd recommend speeds of 2.5-3.0Ghz as a good benchmark to look for, however you might not notice it if it's slightly slower than that. For GPUs, you kind of have to do a little bit more searching around. There are about a million different GPUs out there and some are just pathetic. Find out what GPU the computer you're looking at has, and Google it to find some benchmarks.

    My current setup:
    AMD Athlon II X4 620 (Quad) OC'd to 3.5Ghz
    NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
    4GB DDR3 1600 RAM

I play all the games I've thrown at it at max settings with a constant 50-60 FPS. Dead Space 2 is the most recent game that I've tested and it ran great. A system similar to mine would be great for you and could be built for less than $500. I've yet to max out how many bots I can run but I've had 5 running at once before with absolutely no lag on any of the bots/my personal RS client that I use to legit on (So I guess that makes it 6 total that I've tested).

    Good Computer?

This is what I did for mine...
newegg.com+toshiba-$1000= I can run three to four bots and be ok to run internet ect. Good luck finding a good one. like others said, big thing is RAM+Cpu.
Toshiba makes one of the best laptops out there, that is why i suggest them.

By the way, I would not suggest buying a laptop if your intention is to bot, or play games any more intensive than RuneScape as it will not perform well under those conditions. Buy a desktop if you don't absolutely need a laptop. Or better yet, build your own desktop and get even more bang for your buck.

    Good Computer?

In my opinion 2gb+ ram would be fine.. a fairly cheap graphics card for maybe $60 or so.. and a dual core processer could even be a crappy one like 2.4ghz .. Runescape isn't very demanding, especialy in non hd. Wouldn't even need to spend $300 all up if your only using it for runescape.. I mean building my own gaming computer that plays any of the latest games on mostly highest settings only costed $300 lol.

For Runescape, the game's lag will be almost entirely based on your Graphics Card, followed by CPU, and finally RAM. I would go for the best GFX card you can find, a dual core CPU with 2.6+ GHz, and at least 4GB of RAM. That should be good to run multiple bots on low settings pretty flawlessly.

    Good Computer?

My computer has 4 gb ram and a decent ~2.5 GHz dual core processor but has a really shitty GFX card.

I can run two clients on safe mode, or one on software fixed.

Don't save on the graphics card. You can play, but it really limits the experience.

Yeah I would agree with that, Make sure you dont have internal graphics thats for sure :p unless your computer is brand new that is, internal graphics are getting quite powerfull these days.

    Good Computer?

I have a mac. I would recommend a PC. They are cheaper, and have better graphics cards. For design and schoolwork, sure a Mac is good. For gaming, get a PC.
