Unverified Paypal - can they trace you?

I havn't added my bank account or card.. but I have recieved money from mills.
So if I bought stuff with my Paypal account, used up all the funds and then got chargedback sometime in the future.. where would I stand?

Could I simply abandon the account and create another, without having to pay off the negative balance?

Did you use your actual info when making the account?

That would probably be because he used the same IP to transfer money (which he just got) between accounts, which kinda does look dodgy.. Oh and Paypal is a joke for holding funds anyway!

If this is true, essentially you could protect yourself from making a loss via chargebacks by using unverified accounts and quickly spending the funds. I can't imagine it being true though and im sure Paypal would want that money back, since they are paying for it themselves.

    Thoughts?

Fire, I'm wondering the same thing. Not spending it though, but sending it to my verified account. I would like to know if anyone had an answer to this as it really is an EASY way to scam someone.

I think they can tell if you have multiple accounts, if you log in with the same IP.. and would likely freeze your main until you resolve the outstanding issues on your other account, not 100% sure though.. can anyone confirm?
