    Boxing HELP!

I have a maxed melee account that is combat level 124. Which is pretty awesome because everyone I fight is lower Att, str and def then me, But I ALWAYS lose! I'm down like 20m atm. Is there some type of technique to boxing that I'm just completely missing? Or am I just unlucky as hell?
If you could help me with what attack styles to use or any other things that are helpful please post.

    Thanks =]

To be honest, the best way is too switch between Kick/Defence.
I know this isn't what a lot of people say but I've seen a lot of the big stakers use it and I personally use that method, have fun anyway and good luck :)

Most switch to defense setting before the other person hits. When they hit, switch back to kick/punch.

I just stay in defense. That works best for me.

    Boxing HELP!

I find accuracy (attack) the most reliable, won like 8x stakes in a row against an opponent with near identical stats, he switched between kick and punch (which i assume was def) I switched between attack and kick though mostly on attack

    Boxing HELP!

    This

You get to have extra defense when being hit and extra attack/str when on offense. Best of both worlds

Does anyone know if switching between attack modes actually makes you hit less/harder or less often? If so by how much %?

    Boxing HELP!

That's what I was wondering. I don't think switching to defensive helps at all.

I don't know if switching to def really helps. If you ever noticed that you get your XP from your hit just before/right as you start your swing, not when the damage is shown, so you would have to switch before that action for it to help any.

    Boxing HELP!

Back in RS1, I remember switching Accurate/Defensive constantly, while staking (Or switching between Glory/Gnome Def Ammy).

Ah, good times.. Nothing like staking a phat and furiously switching back and forth between the combat styles. Not sure if that works for RS2 though.

I'm not actually sure if any of the attack styles make a difference.
