Can RSPS Sellers sell cracked wealth/accounts?

Recently purchased close to 3t on spawnpk and the seller asked if I wanted the whole account or just the cash.

I said I could take the account to make it easier for him. I asked if it was cracked or hacked and was told no. I played the account for 5 hours after purchasing it and now both of my accounts are banned. The seller said "the seller sent acc and he sent it to u" but they told me it was their account?

So does that make it okay for sellers to receive stolen wealth and pawn off on buyers knowing they're going to be banned within a few hours? Seems like a shady business practice..

The account they had the wealth on even had daily activities finished from yesterday prior to me playing. I asked if it was hacked or cracked/stolen and they said no.

 

Maybe there's a way to check the seller, some kind of ratings. I wouldn't buy from someone unknown

 

On RSPS they offer the account because the RWT ban is much higher than OSRS itself. They dont like to be held liable for the bans.
