Trying jad again. Check my invent / items please :)

Hey I'm going to try jad again today thought it'll be worth checking here before wasting time, is my equipment and items ok?

I'd think you need sweets. But then again, I've never done barrows with 70+ defense.

 

How many do you think I should get? and replace a sara brew with sweets?

Or should I replace all sara brewws with more restores + sweets

 

To be honest, you'd need alot different stuff. I though people used like diamond (e) and stuff like that. I'd ask some of the people doing firecape services.

 

you need to replace all super restores with sara brews and all sara brews with super restores. im in class now, when i get home i can show you a screen shot of how one of the firecapers did it on my zerker...paid 12 bucks. 12 bucks vs me trying to do it myself and dying a thousand times? id rather pay

edit:wait i think he had more saras than supers... ill check k?

 

Just talked to some guy whos doing his 2nd f cape now, he said he prefers doing rune c'bow with diamond bolts (e), but he also said lose the black d'hide chaps as they're a waste of 1 invent, and take an enhanced excal or sgs.

i'mma go for dinner in a sec so I do have time to alter my gear

So I might change to rune c'bow and buy loads of diamond bolts and get a sara godsword. Buy a good few purple sweets and lose 1 a sara brew or two.

Hm.. 1000 diamond bolts (e) and 800 emerald bolts (e)? should be ok. Seems pathetic how runite bolts cost 1k each now whereas diamond are only like 900ea.

 

get the following: neiti/veracs helm as gear (gives pray bonus)
as inv: 8-9 brews, 1 range pot and the rest restores.
DONT take guthans, it makes the caves harder.

I think sweets are a waste of money.

I have done a few fire capes..
with stats like and worse than yours

I usually use

robin hat / mitre
god cloak
fury/range ammy
rune crossbow
rune kiteshield
black d hide body
black d hide legs
regen
archers ring

I used rune bolts all the way through but diamonds work. id bring about 2.5k, just to be safe. Use 1 type to save an extra inv. space
No guthans.
for my inventory i would have

2 range potions
3-4 brews
rest super restores

That's what i'd use at your level with your stats.
High range bonus for fast kills.

 

Ah I've already gone in. On wave 31 now got the level 360

Used 1.5 super restore, 1 sweet and half a sara. Not doing too bad for resources.

 

Wave 45 - 9 & 1/4 Super Restore - 4 & 1/4 Sara Brew - 3/4 Range pot - 20 sweets - 530 diamond (e) - 1520 emerald (e)

Enough stuff to last?

 

I've never done Jad before so I don't know what to suggest, but good luck
Our stats are almost identical (76 attack, 82 strength, 76 defence, 70 range, 55 prayer, 70 mage, 79 hp) so I might try this set up too if it works

 

You need more brews, and you should get karil's.

 

1 thing I'll say now if you are gonna do this range one like I am buy quite a few sweets and rather than bringing like 9 sara brews like I did bring like 3 or 4 and more super restores, because I think I'll run out of restores got 6 left and only just on wave 50.

Wave 56 and I've got 1 and 3/4 of super restores and 1 and 2/4 sara brew. 14 sweets.

No chance I can make it to 63.
