Who still uses myspace?

Does ANYONE even use myspace anymore? I've switched over to facebook a long time ago and it seems like everyone is doing the same... and then there's something about myspace having to fire half of their staff and eventually, selling off to whoever wants to buy it (probably facebook)...

Any ideas on why it died?? It DID get extremely boring after a while, but won't facebook do the same eventually?

I would have completely disagreed when I first switched to facebook. It was confusing as fuck to me. Couldn't figure anything out like where I was suppose to post messages to people and where the private messages were, and how to read through people's info.... It was also hard to tell whether I was looking on someone's profile or my own... or the general homepage where it shows everyones updates... and whether the updates were recent, or just the most comment-on... the only clear thing to me initially was the like button and the request friendship button :x

But I took the time to learn it and now it's simple to me, but I'd have to say, it's not very user friendly to someone just starting out. I would blame the generic, plain design. Everything looks the same, it can get to confusing!

On top of that, I HATE the RIM Blackberry facebook app. It's terrible, I can't view information or private messages or my own profile/pictures easily at all. I don't think you can view information at all. It's just extremely limited, and the features it DOES have is annoying.

 

I don't see why anyone would ever use myspace :/ it sucks

 

I found this funny considering I was on myspace last night for the first time in like a year. None of my friends use it anymore and there was noone online except for a couple bands.

what's myspace? yeah it died a while ago. I feel facebook will have the same fate in 4-5 years.

 

I'd actually prefer MySpace over FaceBook anytime, as some people get too obsessive with FaceBook. But due to the fact that no one uses MySpace anymore, and everyone uses FaceBook now, it's forced upon you to use it. If your friends used MySpace, you'd probably be using it too. Since everyone's friends used FaceBook, they have to use it too. Since no ones friends use MySpace, they don't use it either or bother with it. But if everyone used MySpace instead of FaceBook, MySpace wouldn't be dead.

Yeah I switched to Facebook because I was over Myspace. Myspace had all these Ads and sometimes they would be those insane ads where it's HD and I'd lag. I'd be like f that lol. But yeah Facebook is way easier to use once you know how to.

 

Myspace is old. Facebook is what I have.

Twit ter is getting really big. I personally like it more than FaceBook because people be creepin on FaceBook.

 

People are always looking for the next big thing. MySpace boomed when it first came out because it used to be hard to keep in touch with all of your friends. Then Facebook came out with more innovative ways to find friends and keep in touch that Myspace hadn't thought of so people naturally switched over to that. Eventually the same with happen to Facebook and they'll have to fire staff and sell off to the next big social network

I come on it every once in awhile, and from what i've seen heard, its still pretty active. Just no longer able to compete with face-book anymore.

Good sum up right there except twit ter = if you're an anything fan... all the celebrities update their twit ter constantly, so it's a good way for those who are obsessed to keep up with them
