Uh, I'm 6'4. I drank a lot of milk when I was younger, but my dad's 6'2 and my mum's 5'11 so that probably had a lot to do with it

I'd say it's probably 80% genetics 20% thereafter

 

I am still pretty convinced it is luck of the draw.

I stand at around 6"3 and I am still growing. My dad is around 5"11 and my mum around.. 5"5.

From my limited knowledge and understanding of this topic, you have a certain natural maximum potential and this is easier to achieve with good health, nutrition/diet, and posture.

 

LOL, getting taller will no way help you get better at football.. I'm one of the taller ones for my age but trust me I've seen people my age half my size yet nearly as good as me!

Take vitamins, consume essential nutrients and your fine!

 

Depending on what you play, being shorter in football could be beneficial. Many running backs are short. Work out though, do squats. Squats will increase testosterone more than any other workout which can lead to good gains. Don't do runs, do kettle bell workouts. Not really worth explaining everything but if you are interested in knowing more just let me know


PS: Idk how old you are but my best friend was 4'7 at the beginning of highschool and by senior year he was 5'11 :O

Just eat a complete and healthy diet, with fruits and vegetables. Participating in sports such as basketball and swimming will also help.

 

You can break your legs to strech them apart and heal, so you can be a few inches tallker. They don't give painkillers, so GL with that.

 

U could get bigger muscular wise?

 

I am 5'5. My mom is 5'2, and my dad is 6'. I am 18 years old... I know where you're coming from, apparently my dad was very short until he left high school, then after that he grew a lot... I read somewhere you grow until you're 20, I have grown like 2 cm from september :\.

Actualy there is. Play basketball insteal of football for atleast 5 yers, drink a lot of milk which contais calcium to strengten your bones so you grow faster. And yes, playing basketball does actualy stimulate one part of your brain which makes your boddy taller, thats why all basketball players are tall.
