Nyx requesting a High Pardon

Requesting at least 2 other mods to also check out the ip patterns between all 9 sythe accounts, more specifically king of gp.

Ill check it out tonight and do some handy work on them, could you do me a favor and shoot me ban reasons for each?

 

I've always been optimistic in pardons, and I support nyx for a pardon. There is a contrast between malicious acts and beneficial deeds, and for me nyx is further on the beneficial deeds side. I would like to see if any more information comes out on this matter, but I wholeheartedly feel that an unban would be correct, and monitor his actions in the future.

 

King Of GP is definitely Nyx, I did a small check and came up with this:

These two posts, an hour apart, have matching IPs, exact.

He's admitted to being Fuzion, and in turn just admitted to being King Of GP.

Considering he has been convicted of scamming I am voting against this as well

I very bluntly asked him over msn if he was king of gp and he swore he was not.

I cannot and will not support liars

 

While this dispute isn't officially denied, I'd like to say that this is a clear example of the Sythe staff team having a zero tolerance policy on lying. While I/we try to be as forgiving as possible, noting we take many factors into consideration before giving a potential vote, we also thoroughly check the pardons to help minimize the chance of somebody harmful or malicious entering the site. We do audit, we will check your IPs, we will search your email addresses, we will dig for proof. Being honest saves us time and in turn boosts the chances of evoking a positive response from the staff. Lie at your own peril, Nyx learned the hard way.

Hope I speak for the rest of the team when I say this.

Phew, just finished reading this hefty thread.

As much as I liked and respected Nyx as a trusted member of this site, my feelings toward him have changed. There is no room for dishonest people on this site, had you come clean in the beginning, maybe this would have turned out differently.

Sad to say it, but after the lying was unearthed, a defiant no from me as well.

 

There's simply no point in wasting time even acknowledging this pardon request.
