Old School or New School Rap?

Some rap these days is more 'fun' in a sense... But you'd be dumb not to say old school.

Old School or New School Rap?

I like it all but if I had to pick between the two I'd pick oldschool. The 90's has so much better lyricists than those who are around today. I actually like a few rappers that are rapping now but have a bit more of an old school sound (see: Wale, except that absolute garbage he did with Waka)

I listen to tons of rap. But I find it so funny when guys act like they have good taste in rap because they "listen" to Tupac, Biggie, Nas, etc. etc. etc. But, Kayne's still my favorite rapper. Old stuff.. Late Registration, College Dropout.

I'm going with new. A lot of new artists raising the bar. The creativity and production is going through the roof.

I love old school, but some new school rappers are good.

I would also say old school, as right from my preschool there is no hip hop.... it is now that all are moving the other side.....

Old School or New School Rap?

I would say old school rap but the newer stuff everyone has their own different style or flow. I still like abit of old school rap but i listen to newer music more often as my favorite artists are new rappers.

    Old School.
Most new rappers have too big of an ego.

Some new school is pretty decent though.

Old school as in N.W.A., Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Bone Thugs N' Harmony, Brotha Lynch Hung, Mac Dre, etc.

New school has some good stuff too, can't argue with that.

Old School or New School Rap?

Old School no doubt. I don't listen to much hip-hop, but if I do, I turn on some old school West Coast hip hop. Stuff that I feel has messages and a lot more meaning to the songs. But then again, I don't listen to Newer hip hop, so I couldn't really have a valid opinion without knowing both sides.
