Why did you invent your own scripting language?

 

We wanted to target an audience of active developers and beginners who can both write a language that is easy to interpret for botting. The other's are clunky or make it hard for the average person to comprehend that doesn't know much about programming, and being that DS is even more human readable then python we think it's the best approach. Plus it's the native interop we get, and the entire thing runs in its own VM. The only thing to get close to something like that is Lua, but Lua sucks.
