Any phishing sites?

    Any phishing sites?
    Can someone link me (in the thread or via PM) to a working phishing site?

    People keep talking about them, and i'm worried ill fall for one. Can anyone show me one that works really well/has a high scam rate, just so i know what to look out for?

    Heres an email I got a week ago, containing a decent looking phish (Do NOT enter your info in the link below):


    Its easy to spot phish sites because you have a green confirmation bar in your address bar when logging into the official runescape site, no phishes will have that.

    was that even a phishing attempt? the url was legit to a runescape domain website

    He may have lost the embedded URL when he copied the email over. Or, you may be right...

    Yeah, i think that's what happened...

    there seems to be a big RS email phishing epidemic atm, i'd love to see that site, I'm doing a study on phishing sites at the mo, and it seems to be a big problem within rs

    how would i do that? I've got a paper to write about "ethical problems that arise with modern technology" so i thought i'd do about people stealing over the internet.. i can't exactly write without seeing what i'm contending with

    If you go to youtube and search moderator applictions for rs im sure you'll find some dodgy links. Take caution though; don't run anything or click any pop ups, and dont enter details.

    can we not talk about this here? stealing personal information is a very sketchy thing to talk about. Basically, if any site offers you pmod or anything else that doesnt say runescape.com at the top, its a scam

    A general rule of thumb I use is unless I typed in the URL or used my frequently visited links on chrome, I DO NOT enter any info. I have been phished before and wont let it happen again. I think Java drive bys are worse though, just since all you have to do is click run..
