Luckily I'm not fully aware of the comic so I will still be able to enjoy it at face value. I know how it feels though when movies fuck up their original source. Dragon ball for example...

I dislike when they make past or future movies and change the character's.
You have the professor their as a shorter man who looks nothing similar and sounds nothing alike.

It's like changing the role of Evy in the mummy. Trying to show as little as possible of her replacement and hope we don't notice, it just doesn't work for me.
