How to avoid getting hacked back?

I just bought this account, I have my e-mail registered, recoveries set, password changed, recovery tested and everything. But suddenley I see it logged on and then later it is logged off. He messed around with the account (nothing big though, didn't level my defense or drop trade). How do I avoid him from logging back on again. I changed my password yet again and set new recoveries. Is it possible to change your log in username?

 

No you can't change your original username. Also how did he log onto your account if you changed the password?

 

This is why i would never buy an account from someone, due to the fact that you can answer random answers for your recovs, and still give the I.P it was created and it will be recovered :3

I'm kind of in the same predicament. well, to an extent. I'm trying to get back this account, and I know all the recovs, I know 3 old passes, I have a registered email on it, and I can provide information about the account but they still find different shit to tell me "no" on the appeal. Any help please? :/

 

Scan ur pc for spyware shit, take an email that only u know and u cant change login name :s

 

Original owner will ALWAYS be able to recover the account with sufficient creation info.

 

^this. Only way to avoid getting scammed is to buy from a highly trusted account seller. Keep changing your pass to throw the guy off though, hopefully he'll give up and leave the account alone.

 

Basically just post in the thread about wiping all records of the account in the forums. I've used that every single time and it has worked for me every time. Other than that, the original owner has full advantage over you.

 

your pc is hacked.. someone is loggin in the account.. it cant be the original owner unless he hacked your pc.. I think you should reformat your pc .. another thing it could have been a glitch saying you logged in.. check the ip everytime u log in

 

If he's the orginal owner, there is fuck all you can do.

Even with the all the correct information, the orginal owner can always take it back.

 

This. There is a thread in runescape forums for "Account struggles", where they can wipe all the information on the account.

 

+1 I couldn't stand leveling up a guy i bought knowing it may be recovered at any time, would not take that risk
