    Regarding dispute section

I've realized that the dispute section is dead atm the only mod's that I've seen active in it are FireZ and Plznate. I just wanted all those mods to realize that members have the right to get their disputes dealt with in a timley manner preferably done in 1-2 days where as recently I've seen disputes last 2 weeks + because of inactivity of the mods. Granted I understand you have lifes other than sythe, but If you guys can't get the job done in a timely manner, you should either get people who can or maybe pay a little more attention to the dispute section. I understand the whole admin thing how global's don't have the power to do certain things and maybe you should think about getting a new admin.

BTW. I didn't write this to tell you guys how to do your jobs I wrote this because I saw a growing problem that needed fixing, please take this as constructive criticism as thats exactly what it is.

Generally disputes are given so members have a chance to redeem themselves. It is a privilege that they have the opportunity to come back to Sythe, so I think how they have it going right now is fine.

What about unrightfull bans? considering many mods ban then ask questions later many members see themselfs with bans for weeks even months when in all reality they were innocent doesn't sound like justice to me

    Regarding dispute section

The people who are active in the dispute sections are usually the ones who are active in report a scammer, so obviously the ones who are responding on disputes are the ones who dealt with the scam report in the first place.

Link me to the ones that have been there for 2+ weeks and I'll see what I can do.

I'ts already being dealt with but heres a link just to proof it does happen...

and gohan I see the point of the people who ban unban them but when they ask for other mods opinions I think other mods should post especially when I saw other mods viewing the thread.. Also just know I'm not complaining just about my situation just using it as proof to proove that there needs to be more activity in that section.

I agree. FireZ does enough as it is, and its difficult for sectionals like myself to handle some of the disputes because we do not have access to all the tools that the globals do.

Theres no point for someone who doesnt know the reason why they were banned to deal with it, because the member could be lying.

As Plznate suggested, it's difficult for sectionals. It's more of a Globals job to look through them.

Isn't that why most members link you to their report of how they got the ban not only does that show you the reason for the ban but it also tells you who asked for the ban.

BTW Karl I'm not so much targeting mods as a whole as sectionals do their jobs but I feel that some admins/globals aren't active enough.Like I said before I realize sythe mods have lifes but I just think that a new admin may be a good idea to deal with the recent lack of activity in upper staff.

edit: Just realized it may not be so much of lack of activity as it has more to do with increase in reports and activity in sythe members overall.

    Regarding dispute section

Most sectionals are hesitant about answering Scam Reports or Disputes (Especially the newer moderators) and the higher staff don't really encourage us to work on them. Plznate and Gohan have been doing well to help FireZ, but I do agree it would be nice to see a couple more Globals taking some of FireZ's workload.

Excellent point. I'll do a little cleaning there later.

    Regarding dispute section

For starters, there are many more members and disputes now because the influx of new users also led to many who don't bother to read/abide by the rules and therefore the # of bans goes up and so does the dispute ratio.

A lot of the latest set of ban disputes came from RaSc where it takes much longer to review an entire scam report then it does for something like ban evasion which is generally quite simple.
I received a nice boost today and now we have it back down to 15 threads, at lest a reasonable amount. Much better then if we see 40 - 60 threads at once.

Account recoveries: Myself and Tyro/SMR are collaborating on those to start getting them knocked out here soon.

Lets see how the dispute forum goes this week.
