Will i win this? [Paypal question]

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but recently i was trying to buy an account from a recently banned user (he was a vader, i didnt know at the time) The whole night we were looking for an OMM. we got Giddy but he all of a sudden said he had to leave and that he couldnt MM the trade, ok, I know this is my fault but i then say well maybe we can do this without a MM he agrees. I sent 21 dollars (Not as a gift just incase he scammed which he did) and the scam takes place the usual, I dispute it on paypal and he posts this...



Now for some reason i feel like i wont be getting my money back, which i really need =/

Any tips?

p.s he put a fake tracking number and shipping company aswell (UPS)

 

You shouldn't have said that it was for a runescape item. Just file the dispute then don't say anything and you will usually win it.

 

You will probably lose, because Runescape accounts are not allowed to be traded via Paypal.

Whenever I buy/sell gold, I say it's for a video game that the seller is shipping to me (as in an Xbox game or something). If you look through all my notes that I use on Paypal, I look like a pretty hardcore gamer, buying so many 'Xbox games'!

I would say only trust people with 50+ vouches, but you didn't know he was previously banned. Just bad luck buddy.

 

I'm very new to the business of paypal, but I'm sorry to see the crap your going through. I'm going through a similar situation with a buyer filing a claim after I gave him some rsgp.

That fake tracking number does sound promising. Perhaps verify or prove its invalid to Paypal and show them that this guy is abusing their system.

 

I'm also in the same boat after trading rsgp for money and buyer filing claim causing my account to be limited and -$15 for now :/.

 

Is the tracking number of a real product or is it just some random number he entered?

If it's a random number you'll most likely win since the item will never go anywhere. If not, you still have a small chance, when they ask for proof send the msn chat logs. Otherwise there's nothing else you can do :/
