wtf? jagex has account detections?

ok, so i bought a 138, 99 con slayer craft and others, put my 1b on it etc, just a second ago i got banned for account hijacking, i sent in an appeal, hopefully i can get it locked, then get it unlocked and ill be good. but has any1 had this happen before? like wtf..

When Jagex thinks an account has been stolen, they ban/lock the account, and wait for the owner to appeal and have it. After you recover, they will set the owner IP to yours.
Hope you get it back. I want your cash by the way. <3

why in the hell would you instantly put 1b on an account. Should have waited at least a few days.

 

it has been a week, and a little more, i recovered it via email instantly, so i felt i was good...but now this..

So you expect to NOT be banned when a VERY high level account changed IP's suddenly, and gained 1B in gold from said IP?

Wait wtf you got BANNED? Since when does Jagex do that? I could understand an immediate lock.. But ouch :s Also you should have gradually added money onto it.

 

yea, perm banned, thats what im saying, this never happened to me, and never herd of it happening, and i did, i made 10m on him, staked my other account 10m, and won, and then 20m stake, till i made 200m on him, then the next day i staked the 200m, then 400m, then another 100m, to make it look like i cleaned my account, so idk, will post after appeal is done.

 

yeh i find it kind of silly that you put the 1b straight away , but yes i have had it happen to me and it is easy to get back with info ! GL

 

1B :'( seems like an excessive amount of cash for just getting it.

 

Well you can get out of the perm ban, but you will have to unlock it.
Jagex gives you a choice to pay to get an account unbanned im not sure where you find this but i think you email them. Your stats get rolled back but its worth it considering the money you have on there.

 

Its a shame tho, he bought the account and is now banned. If you put the money on gradually over time, this could have been prevented. But sorry to hear, you should keep us posted.

 

the money is not why it is banned, and is not even much money to me, i have like 7b more on other account, and can easily make double it. more importantly i want the account back, hopefully i get it.

 

Why would you put 1B immediately?
It was probably because you traded it over.
