recommend me a laptop!!!

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I'd like an i7 just because internet speed is at the top of my list.. The only game I'd play on it woud be rs but I def would like the game to run smoothly without lag (I have a good internet connection so don't say its about that ).. Probly looking for sony and hp brand.. Don't rly like dell gateway etc..

Maybe the new touch screen laptops that have a keyboard also? Duno if there good..

Get an IBM, there frekin tanks; I've had mine since 2003 and it is still works like it did the day I bought it.

 

MSI or Toshiba are the best ones pick one of those.

 

Also can u guys tell me what exactly to look for in a good laptop like what processor and how many rams etc

 

You don't need an i7 to play RS. Don't buy a HP, they suck. You honestly just need any semi-decent computer for less than $1000.

Well, typical laptops now run around 2-4 gigs of RAM. The more RAM, the better. Processors are going to be on the lower end since it's a laptop. Any quad core processor that runs around 1.8+ ghz should be fine, or a dual core that runs around 2.5ghz. obviously go with the quad core if you get the opportunity. higher GHZ means higher speed, but the number of cores plays a big part. You can do perfectly fine with an i5 proc, or even an i3 depending on what other hardware you have. If you plan on using it for gaming, make sure you have a decent GPU. That will help make sure you don't lag much. The bigger the Hard drive, the more data you can store. if you don't download movies and huge torrent files, a 200gigabyte drive should be adequate. You can always buy an external hard drive if you need more space. That's just some basic stuff. If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me

Also, don't buy an Alienware anything.. You basically pay for the brand when you can get the exact same computer for nearly half the price by building your own or customizing a well known brand's pc (dell, HP, Asus, Acer, compaq)

 

If you're still a student, I recommend the Fujitsu tablet (my school computer, i go to a private school). It's awesome, you can write stuff on it, and onenote keeps track of everything. It's not too bad, $1400, but it's decent for gaming and it just makes you so organized.

 

i bought the (touch screen) hp i7 6gb ddr, 750gb sata hard drive(15.6in screen). 720qm 1.6ghz and the graphics card is ..ati mobility radeon hd 5650

thats all foreign language to me lol but i got a rly good deal from future shop it was 1200 and it was open box so i got 5% off and apparently the computer is discontinued so the price was lower then other i7 computers there.

can u rate the computer.. good graphics card? will it be fast etc
