50MB would of been impressive 2 years ago when everyone didn't have it.

Yeah im stuck with 200kb downloads to Got bt but they don't do any faster packages in my area.

My family would have at least 25MB now, but my stoner brother finally went to college, so now we are short on cash.

 

That upload is horrendous to be fair.

My last connection was 35 megabits a second down 12 megabits a second up.

It was nice to have a constant buffer to be able to do whatever I wanted, but after a while it just became impractical when I could only do frivolous things like streaming a 1080p movie on every computer in the house with no buffering.

I guess the disheartening fact was that I couldn't actually get any download sources that would download anywhere near that fast, heavy commercial sites like steampowered capping out at 16 megabits a second maximum.

 

I have been through about 5 ISPs, it's my damn location, I was told by 3 or 4 of them the most I will ever get until there are advances in my area is 1mbps.



2.48, what are these terrible lies, the max download speed i've ever got was 450kbps

 

Yeah, its the only downside to most UK ISPs, there is no good upload speeds.
