No, its a fact actually. I can take any OMM and pair them up against any user claiming you first or OMM and get better results of ethical trading for the OMM then the other user.

    Great idea, support.
this would decrease the amount of potential scammers.
however this would greatly increase the amount of imposters, who might even be more dangerous then scammers.
I also agree on setting a minimum of like 15-30usd for trades.

Think about it, if you were starting fresh on another black market would you really want to pay someone to recovery check your account? I dont think backing out of using an OMM should result in any punishment..

Who will do all account trades because alot of the OMM's can't be bothered anymore as gp is far more rewarding?

Edit: I do like the idea its just alot of people pm me asking me to mm accounts saying OMM's can't be bothered, How can someone be required to use an OMM if No OMM will do it?

Using an OMM isn't a 100% guarantee, there have been many that scammed.

<.< My trades were around $250, lol. Although I do agree a minimum value should be in place, each case should be evaluated before throwing the twc.

100% agree, there have been times when I was the only MM on at the time (Usually at midnight my time) and I get hammered with OMM request, since I choose not to do more than 1 at a time and the other people can't wait, the other people just decide to go first with most of them talking to me 20-30minutes later saying they were scammed by going first.

Although my example is slightly different, it proves that they are 100x times better off using an MM

    I laughed my head off.

A perm ban for wanting a trade to go quickly? Thats a bit insane.

There have been numerous OMM scammers in the past, if I remember correctly.

That would be something a TWC is used for. >_>.

    No support.

I can understand the need of something like this but:

I do have a Questing Services and If I dont want to trade with some one because he is asking for a OMM I dont want to.Not because I want to scam but I simply dont trust them as I do when I have my Cash on my PayPal Account. In adition it slows down a deal way to much for me.

How about introducing this rule for accounts with less and a specific amount of vouches/posts? Or only for account/GP sales?

Punishing some one because he didnt want to use a OMM or hopping of a conversation is a bit harsh isnt it?

I like this suggestion , anyway if someone doesnt want to use omm even if u pay for it , its obvious that hes trying to scam you .

my very first trade was bad one , i believed that guy who wanted to buy 150m rsgp off me , even he got 30 vouches so since that i have always used omm to trade or very trusted mm

    Won't happen.

This site has always encouraged a trader's right to determine for themselves how to conduct their trades.

And, even though it may seem like a nice idea for those who've been on this site a while and actually know who the OMM's are, it's entirely rational for newbies on the site to be suspicious of them. New traders don't know how they're chosen, what size trades they usually do, how often they get banned, whether the staff's opinion of them is credible, etc.

While reading through the first page of this, I was astonished by the unblemished support. I understand this might sound like a good idea, but are the traders not allowed rights anymore? It should be their choice no matter how suspicious it may seem. I think it was SuF that said you shouldn't get a TwC or perm ban for wanting a quick trade. I sell gold quite frequently and I would hate to be forced to use an OMM every single trade. Luckily, I'm not because most buyers trust me, but it would be a big hassle to use an OMM for every trade. Would I be willing to do it? Yes, but I think the traders deserve the right to decide how they want to trade.

If they first agree to use OMM and then X out of the chat while OMM is there, I agree that should be a TwC. That's extremely suspicious activity, but I think when a relatively trusted member wants a quick trade, that's a different story and we cannot force people to use OMMs.

Honestly, I don't care if OMMs have to walk on a bed of nails. This site has proved time and time again that even the most trusted people still don't have their free will restricted.

I do not agree. Personally, i find myself, and other market fags more "trusted" then some of the OMM. Ive dealt with more usd than other middle mans. So if i refuse to use an official middle man, because they are less experienced/trusted than myself, i will get banned?
Also, lets say you are running a gold shop. You get 20 adds per hour. Someone wants to use an official middle man, and you already are talking to many other customers. Using the OMM would get one deal done, but you might lose other customers, since time is money. Do not agree with this at all.

I agree for all of the above reasons. If I had to use an OMM for every single trade I did, I'd simply lose business. Also, if all my buyers now have to pay extra to use an OMM for my trades, I'm gonna have to lower my price to compensate.

Perhaps there should be certain exceptions granted

I totally agree with that. However, I don't mind using OMMs for big trades like 1b+ WU transactions :)
