Are there ways to prevent PayPal chargebacks?

Title pretty much says it all.

Is there a 100% safe way to prevent "unauthorized chargebacks" when selling gold?

And no, sending as a gift with a message does not always work.

 

Unfortunately there is no gauranteed way to prevent chargebacks, that is just the risk you have to take if you want to use Paypal. You can however do things to minimize those risks...

The biggest problem is stolen paypals, and I give a few, albeit not many, pointers on how to detect those.

If you're really unsure if someone's using a stolen paypal, have them send you a $.01 goods payment so you can get their address. Then use some sort of reverse address lookup website and get their phone number and give them a call

 

Get a secured checkout setup, automatically checks the ip's of those that pay you.

How can you do that? And I'm not really talking about stolen PayPal accounts, I'm talking more of people who use their own PayPal then say it's unauthorized. And they can easily use a proxy server to hide their IP.

 

IM verified paypal myself and tired of gold seller trying to scam, atm trying to get my money back from a stolen paypal (the stolen paypal unverified) since send as gift I had to report an unauthorized paypal.

Make them send as a gift.
Make sure it's NOT creditcard funded.
Make sure it's BALANCE/BANK funded.
Make sure their NOT on an IP changer (teamview their screen, or skype.)
