best kind of staker

whats the best levels for staker looking around combat lvls 70-80

There isn't a "best staker". You can make a best staker for a set type of rules though.
You could go for a DDSer:
60 attack
99 strength
1 prayer
High HP

Or a mage boxer:
99 mage
11 prayer
High HP
1 defence

Those are sick between 70 and 80 cb!

Best staker for DDS rules nowadays is:

75 attack
99 strength
1 defence
99 hitpoints
1 prayer

What's important in a staker is that it can be used effectively according to one of the few popular sets of rules. These are boxing and dds staking, *maybe* mage boxing and ranged fights (though those two, especially ranged fights, are much less popular than the first two). Once you get some experience in staking and what wins/loses, you can branch out a bit. For example, I've found in DDS staking that HP is far more important than strength. 10 HP levels make far more difference than 10 strength levels and depending on where you're already at, they generally give around the same combat level. Basically, you're not going to find the best stats unless you make a generic build and learn from there.

 

stats are important, but it's even more important to know your limits. come with a system of variables with decent stats, know when to take a break, and you'll be fine. =D

 

I like boxers personally.

Get around 80 attack, 80 strength, 80 defence with 1 prayer.

If you level other skills like magic and ranger you can get high hp also.

 

60 att 60 str 70 def even owns people with 95+ str

No such thing as a good staker/ good pker, having the skill is more valuable then a good staker/pker. Trust me!

 

Mage boxer definately... NO deffence 73 cb with 99 mage 99 hp... its your best chance at a 4x stake to with a lvl 120+ and considering defence lvls only count for 10-20% of mage defence u have a decent chance at winning !

yea i found myself losing vs 2 lv 70 magers with 1 def while i had 40 def -.- i was amazed

70 attack 40 str 70 defence is beast that should put you around 80 cb

 

99 99 99 boxing is safest bet as ppl try hide or only stake ppl shitter than them and u need to be patient as fuck being lower level
