    Played Mod Reporting?

EDIT: I was botting Puro Puro at the time.

I think I was just reported by a player mod. Will this increase my chance of ban more than if a regular player was to report me?

I did answer him, but it was a short while after, by which time he was gone.

    Should I be worried?

Jagex SAYS they review player mod reports more closely, and give them higher priority than normal reports.

I'd take a break from botting if you ask me.

Keep botting a report takes a 60 second snap shot, botting more or less won't change weather or not your banned.

I don't see how taking a break will make a difference, the evidence is there I guess. Hmm..

Ya cause questing will make me loads of RSGP.

    That's what I was thinking.

I can speak from experience. I've suicide botted 6 accounts to high levels, and all accounts have been reported many times by various players. None of them banned. However, one of the accounts was reported by a PMod and a week later it was banned for autoing. My appeal was denied, of course.

I would definitively abstain from botting for a week. I would suggest working on another account while you wait to see what happens. No point in training that account if it will be banned in 7 days, right? Give it about a week and see what happens.

Surely if it is bound to be banned, I should bot 24/7 until that day, transferring the loot over to my main once in a while?

I have about 5 accounts running puro puro right now, it's not a huge loss, however it means I'm going to have to splash out another 10-25M on another account.

I think that only applies to language, scam etc reports.

If you're reported for botting they probably check out your account's habits, playtime, mouse movements etc. Being reported by a player mod probably just makes Jagex take the report more seriously.

You guys do not think logically.

*Play 24/7 the past 2 weeks then after an incident with a player mod you stop playing.

Yea that doesn't look obvious or anything.

i would clear out any valuables i have on that account: if that Pmod reported you, you will probably get banned because their reports are looked at more closely (they have a special Jmod staff called "mod curators" who, among other things, oversee their reports- don't ask how i know this:p )

however if you choose to transfer i would find a safe way to do so; have the items pass through various different IP's and various accounts BEFORE it goes to your main- you dont want it to be traced instantly to your main leading to another ban.

if you want to be super-safe you can-trade to a mule, have the mule killed in the wild and looted by another mule, then trade it to your friend which will trade it to you (the mules should be on a different IP to the main)

latly getting caught botting just leads to a reset on one account if your caught botting you are either way i am pretty sure they look at all accounts on your ip and if they dont i dont see why they would not not one person i know only bots one account ever lol

I have been banned quite a few times on different accounts, but I have never had other accounts being banned due to a bot character getting banned, if that makes sense.

    Honestly:
I doubt he reported you, and if he did, as long as you're using a good bot (not a free powerbot script, rofl) that has good anti-ban, you'll be fine. If you change it up, they'll see it as more suspicious.

You're probably safe, he probably didn't even report (half of my mod friends know I bot...) and usually, if they're mature they don't care.
