    Stop chargebacks

Kinda RuneScape related, but didn't know where else to post:

Is there a way to stop ppl from making chargebacks after they've paid their cash to you through PayPal? I've been scammed with this like 2 times already, and since i wish to start selling stuff again i want to know.

Get them to send you payment as a gift, then they have no way of claiming the money back.

Incorrect. As far as I know, there is no way to stop chargebacks. However, you can reduce the chance of a SUCCESSFUL chargeback by:

    1. Making the other person send as gift and attach a note saying, "This payment is for virtual goods that I have already received"

    2. Make sure that the PayPal account is not credit card funded as the person can just call the company and tell them not to pay

Do claim and cancel. Safest way I know, and cannot be chargedback unless credit card funded. Paypal gift is alright too but make them say "This payment is for virtual goods that I have already received".

The bank information is incorrect. Bank's can easily retrieve their money back an you would just have a negative credit. Paypal balance and gift = best way.
