    Ah cool thread

I've been visiting the gym about a month now, I've noticed a good difference but my main aim was to get more mass, basically.

My question is: How do I gain more weight, what foods should I eat etc?

I've been taking supplements but haven't noticed a difference, my motabolism is really fast.

Gaining weight is simple, calorie eaten > calories burned. Literally just eat more.

The best thing to do is eat 4-5 smaller meals a day rather than 2-3 large ones. Even if your full, eat more. The faster you eat the slower you'll feel full.

    Your dietary staples should include:
Lean animal protein sources, including but not limited to:

Most turkey and chicken in general, especially if it is skinless. Turkey and chicken breasts especially.

Ground turkey, chicken, beef or pork.

Virtually all forms of fish, even the fattier fishes are very good for you.

    Whole eggs.

Whole grains, including but not limited to:
Whole wheat bread, bagels, rolls, etc.
    Whole wheat pasta
    Brown rice
    Oatmeal
Whole grain breakfast cereals and muesli
Virtually all fruits and vegetables, including beans and dry-roasted nuts.
Healthy fats like olive oil (for sauces, dressings & low-temperature cooking) and canola oil (for high-temperature cooking), and Omega-3 rich fish oil.
Low fat dairy products like skim milk, low fat/nonfat yogurt and reduced fat cheeses. Just be aware that some "reduced fat" cheeses are still relatively high in saturated fat.

Alright, the biggest thing is Calories eaten < Calories burned. The SAFEST amount of weight to lose is no more than 2 pounds a week which is about 2500 calories.

Atm, do you maintain your weight or are you slowly putting it on?

If you're maintaining, all you need to do is go running or swimming or biking for a short period of time 3-5 days a week and you'll start losing weight.

If you need a link I could find you a running schedule :).

A good amount to run is 20 minutes - 1 hour at a pace that makes you breathe slightly harder than you normally do.

You can't leave your house? -.o

Your biggest thing is going to be the food. Watch what you eat and eat 500 less calories a day and you'll lose weight :)

Yeah they will, just not as much as, say, running.

Any exercise will help lose weight ;)
