BEWARE! Best phish ever?

well, when I first saw the mail I was like "oh another phishing attempt", so I looked at the email how fake it would be, and it said: "[email protected]".
it made me doubt about it being a phisher already.
I decided to go to rs main page before trying to log in then I realised it was a phisher:

Yeah, I got EXACTLY the same email. Rather convincing.

Just a little helpful pointer here, support emails like this from Jagex come from @email.jagex.com and begin with support-*shitloadofrandomlettersandnumbershere*

 

Tip, the MSN you use for sythe, don't use it on any runescape accounts so you shouldn't be getting any emails from jagex, and if you do you know straight away its a phish email.

Any person who is not aware of this would atchually be tricked into this. This is a big threat to alot of peoples accounts. But i just never check emails lol.

 

Why are you guys saying you would be tricked? Jagex has always said they won't email you

There are websites with a lower moral compass that can send emails from any domain

 

Tracked the guy through the whois email to his facebook lol

Loll'ed at this. You can easily manipulate it so it says @jagex.com.

they should restore the stronghold of security back to where you had to answer questions at every door.
Im fairly sure ive answered the question about jagex not emailing you over a 100 times.
