Safety of gp buying

Wasn't too sure which part was the most suited to this, and I couldn't see anything on this when I had a look through the form.

To the point:

how safe is it buying GP and being given it via trade as opposed to staking?

can anyone give me a brief run-down on their experiences/knowledge

 

Just use an MM if you're considering the reliability of people, if you're talking about the ban rate, I simply got it on a level 3 transfered through several mules until I finally gave it to my main.

its not that bad if they plan on banning people i dont think they did yet

i bought about 70m as soon as free trade came out and still no ban

it would pry be safest to do it via staking just because people are really lossing 100m at a time via staking lolz

I meant the possibility of getting banned.

I also got my gp from a lvl 3, in which he traded to a 5 year old account I've had, but I think trading it across to other accounts before it reaches my main is probably the way forward

 

if they are all your account there is a 0 ban rate no matter what its not real world trading if your sharing between your accounts...

 

If they are on your IP, you wont get banned.

 

what is it you mean, like if I've played on the accounts on my own PCs then it's fine

so like

gold seller > account 1 > account 2 > main

that'd be fine?

how long between each deposit to the accounts, and finally getting to my main do you think I should leave?

 

Pretty sure jagex can track the gold between accounts, and the mules will have your IP so it doesn't even matter. If they are going to ban you for RWT using mules won't matter, they will ban you. Save yourself the hassle and just buy it and have them trade it directly to your main.

Very low, I have traded gold many times and never once been cautioned or banned for it.

 

trade is less dangerous than staking

 

There's thousands of transactions that go on all day. As long as you don't trade in intervals over 100m+ you should be okay.

IMO it's the repeated trades that will get you banned. The most sensible way for jagex to go about banning people for RWT would be to see who's constantly losing large amounts of gp to other players via trade/stake. Then once they investigate into the seller's account, it won't take much to be sure that the recieving parties are buying the gold, and a whole load of buyers get banned.

So honestly if the seller has any intelligence whatsoever they'll take advantage of many ways to make it seem less suspicious. Buying gold is very safe, even selling it is fairly safe as long as you keep it reasonable.

 

Its safe , doubt they can do anything. They cant control all the trades etc
