[DENIED] Require vouches to contain details

Lots of the time, including vouches I have received, vouches are extremely vague. They will read like “sold user osrs gold, great guy!”

There should be minimum criteria in vouches:

1. Value of transaction
2. Who went first or if trade was middlemanned state that
3. Some detail on item(s) sold

This will help people gauge the value of vouches.

That’s all.

 

How would this affect previous vouches? I can’t imagine it is something that can be retroactively enforced.

As someone who has dealt with some users in the market, I can confidently say many participants have the brain size equivalent to a pea. I’ve requested vouches to be explained a certain way and they just don’t do it the way I requested, even when I ask for them to revise it with clear instructions in layman terms.

I came to the conclusion that there is possibly a language barrier, some people are in a rush after trades are complete, and others simply don’t care enough.

I can guarantee there will be tons of policing in the vouches forum if this were to be implemented and it’s just not worth it (as good as this suggestion sounds).
