What's stopping botting providers from hacking users?

Seriously tho? There's no evidence, they could practically mass hack people's accounts and get away with it because there'd be no evidence.

I mean I guess you could say 'Oh don't put a lot of gold on an account you've botted' or 'change the password from time to time'

But damn is that really the case? These guys can rob you blind if they choose to? Is there anything Sythe as a system is able to do about this?

Your information is stored in their database, there's plausible deniability of their involvement (no direct evidence) and yeah, unfortunately it's the case. Generally speaking, though, the business model that the provider engages is likely far more profitable than the prospect of mass-hacking and reputation destruction (just because there's no evidence, doesn't mean people will use you again, once the pieces start being put together).

 

Use a reputable bot? I highly doubt Sythe would get involved. Just do your research and don't use pop up by night bots. Not to mention I'm sure bot creators are making way more off subscriptions that can be made by hacking lousy botting accounts. I mean who even thinks of something like that .
