    No sound?
    Hi. I just woke up to see that my computer has restarted without me restarting it. And I logged on to see no sound. It's a different sound icon and everything. It says i need an output device installed. And I'm using a laptop. Please help.

    The sound icon is completely different. What do I do?

    Go to the control panel and open up device manager. If you see any little yellow triangle !s, that may be the problem.
