Let's go jump off a cliff!

This summer, I'll be heading here like usual, except this year I'm jumping off the cliffs if my leg heals enough. Hell yeah. Oh, and this is located at Lynn Canyone AKA Lynn Valley in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It's only about 25 minutes from my house =]

Yes, it is wonderful, except for the fact that you'll want to make sure it's been hot and sunny for a week at least, and that there isn't any snow on the northshore mountains, because this canyon is fed by a glacier run off. So not only is the water going to be cold all the time, but there is also an undertow risk at the waterfall, if the water is to high.

Basically, the waterfall angle represents half a circle. The first quarter of the circle is the waterfall itself, then second quarter of the circle is the waterfall pushing force down and backwards towards the rock wall, and then it gets stopped from the rock walls. So basically, if your water is to high you'll be getting sucked backwards & under, and virtually just be washed around in circles, not even the strongest swimmer would get out.

People drown here all the time, though, if theres no snow on the mountains & it's been dry and hot a long time, chances are it's good to go.

Lol thanks bro :) I'm not going to jump in unless I see lots of others as well doing it, because then that means it's all good, it's pretty safe if you're not stupid about and respect the power of the water.
