Scammers Increase 1000%?

I've been recently buying upgrades. I have spent 2.5 days looking for one, i have gotten scammed 4 times and haven't found a single trustworthy upgrader. From now on I'm doing my business directly through Jagex. I don't care about the extra couple of dollars.

 

Your right on this. Jagex is the only way people should be buying codes from now on.

 

Discovery.ch or w/e seems 100% legit.

 

Use an MM.

 

Well what do you expect, someone with febuary 2011 join date and a name like ISELLPINS is probably going to scam you lol.

Either use an omm, wait it out for a trusted seller or upgrade via jagex yourself :embar:

I do feel your pain though its hard to get upgrades atm just have to be patient and smart about it.

 

OMM every time. I bug giddy about 3242398423 times a day and I'd rather bug him 23432423 more times than get scammed once.

 

Glad to say the staff just eliminated a guy who made 7 separate sythe accounts to sell upgrades in there. Let it be known that is worthy of a perm ban, not to mention he scammed 1 guy....

The other problem, aside from not using an MM, is trying to buy an upgrade on Sythe just for the discount. In general, the best bargains are scams, and trying to save money here is a pretty good way to lose it.

Your best bet is to simply pay the premium to buy from trusted sellers, pay for an MM, or - as you said - stick with Jagex.

 

What Sin and others have said is very true. It's simply much better to pay more to a trusted upgrader such as Inephus to upgrade your account. It is much safer and I don't have to worry. Although it's around twice the price, it's definitely worth it for me to pay that much.

Use an omm if u dont feel like taking a risk
