Impostor Sub-Forum

Just a simple idea, not sure if it would work, but I didn't see the harm in posting it.

Basically, I'm suggesting that a new sub-forum is created for Impostors, my reason being. Some people don't put known impostors in their Sig because it messes things up. Basically, by having a sub-forum for Impostors, people could view the forum, and post on peoples threads if they've found an impostor, and the user could include it in their sig, and therefore, saving space.

Like I said, no idea if it would work, but I thought I may as well suggest it.

Also, Mods, If there is somewhere people can post threads like this already, could you let me know, and close this thread?

I've seen a few people making imposter threads in the spam forum, though I guess this wouldn't be all that bad.

 

Yeah, I was going to put mine in there. But i couldn't be arsed dealling with the trolls etc. So i didn't bother.

 

I'm not sure if a sub forum is a necessary, perhaps a sticky of known imposters imposting credible members?

 

Possibly? But then it would be up to mods to handle, which would be a pain.
And what to you class as 'credible'.

 

I put a list of my imposters in my gold-selling thread. I think it would be inconvenient for other people to have to browse a separate sub-forum to check if an email is an impostor's, but that's just me

 

Support as it would make things easier for people and the people selling.

 

I have mine on my OMMing thread. No need for a section tbh.

 

I agree with this idea - a sticky would serve well, though the thread should act the same as the 'Request an Avatar' thread in the Donator lounge, posts are deleted and the main post updated by a Moderator.

Credible being staff members, OMM's, and other high profile members that are active in the market or well known. The decision of whether or not they are credible would be made at the Staff's discretion.
