Every single business in the world is about money.

Cash is king. And profit is number one priority in a capitalism world. Deal with it.

 

Wow, never thought they would do this. I will see if I can get some of my old accounts unbanned, some had quite a bit of cash/rares on them.

 

Either they won't do shit, or they will unban the first few people who pay so that people think it's legit, then deny everyone else.

I would pay jagex to unban my account. If they don´t I´ll just run up to my bank and tell them I didn´t authorize the transaction, end of story. I get my money back and my account is still banned. I don´t see any danger in paying jagex to unban my account.

 

Yea, and they've abolished slavery and blacks can become presidents and women can vote now. Crazy huh? May be go back to the 1870s where you can happily be your bigoted self.

 

I agree to this. If they're really losing more money than making, they can just lay off their staff or raise membership prices, most people will continue to pay even if they charge $7-10 a month instead of $5.

The only real expenses they have is the staff.

 

I do not agree with the way they are allowing people to pay to be unbanned.

Though I would like to mention, it's awfully surprising how many people are banned for not following the correct terms to your agreement when signing up at rs yet will say that Jagex should go by your specific terms regarding the reinstatement of an account.

 

I think it is odd that they are posting that when they have been/still are against macroing and are actively fighting it. What is the point in fighting it if your going to allow them to come right back and continue?

 

The reason why they're asking money for it now is because of the fact that a lot of employees are catching and banning macro'ers. Therefore costing money. Atleast that was the reason given by a J-Mod.

Sounds logical to me.
