recent changes.. dont mean squat?

The game will never replace the old mechanics, and game play style regardless of theirs efforts and changes they have put in tact. Lets face it the older community has moved on, quite frankly I still love the game but it doesn't satisfy me nor give me a reason to play anymore then I have in the past couple years. Despite the changes, Ive never played for more one consecutive hour since 2007

In regards to the changes;

Safety mechanism still in place (e.g ditch + many others)
New graphics are lame.
inflation on prices
Stupid things like GWD...money is more flexible in economy = more richer people.
Botting, and RWT actually does ruin the game regardless of your thoughts.
X options, easy mobility..stupid.


What are your thoughts on this game now?
(btw take into account im 19 in university before lil kiddie flame game starts. Started playing this game 2001.)

I agree. The graphics now look silly. I actually liked the 'crappy' old graphics, and the mechanics. Especially the Scimmy and the way it attacks...it's so....i dunno >.<

I do enjoy the GE though....and the ditch doesn't really annoy me anymore. But, i still miss RS without it.

 

I'm in pretty much the same situation. I still love the game but I can't help but feel its overrun by people intent on calling everyone kids and intent on trying to make a shit load of cash as opposed to actually enjoying the game.

 

I know your right but I still do enjoy the trade being back / pking.

 

GWD is cool, but I do not like the NEX, I understand it needs to be hard, but it is not fun.

And the graphics, they could really fix it, it would not look so stupid.

And the bots, yes, I do not understand why Jagex did not do a mass ban before an update...

 

I know what you mean about the fear dude. The game sucks now because there's too many people trying to be like everyone from 2004 and stuff.

 

Let's get a Runescape 3 going, all the 'cool kids' will move on to that. While us who want to play it how we want can play RS2.

 

Graphics, how the scimitar looks, as well as having a surplus of noobs that don't know what old rs was like pisses me off.

Started in '03
