[SUG] Account Upgrade Verification [SUG]

Lately on the sythe forums; as a new member that is. I've notice alot of scammers on the Account Upgrade Part of the Runescape Market. Here's what Im getting at.

To be a Account Upgrade seller the person should:

• 
  Be verified by a Market Mod(Mod)/Admin before being able to sell.

• Should have a decent amount of Vouches amongst the Market section.

Just trying to prevent scamming guys. I've been scammed once since I've joined the sythe forums.. Thats pretty bad with me only being a 4 day old or so member.. Post your thoughts/Comments.

Just trade with users that are already proven trust worthy by their vouch count or moderator status. You wouldn't have a problem trading with them.

 

Pretty much what Bubba Fuzz said. I would still watch out for even established members because even they will try and screw over a new member who is unfamiliar with Sythe.

Who is going to believe a member who joined 5 days ago with 22 post count, or someone who joined a year ago with 900+ post count, $25+ Donator?

I would try and build some reputation on the forum before giving someone access to your account. My rule of thumb, never give anyone access to your account in general.

Always use an OMM.

 

I think its still necessary. Dont want another RS2cheating Scandel.. even Mods/Admins Scammed.. The person had a number of vouches; thus why Im asking for verification..

 

I don't support this. Someone could simply get verified and get a handful of vouches and then start scamming people. It's way too easy to get around and I think you should just stick to buying from trusted sellers rather than trying to make new rules, which I think would make buyers more vulnerable (thinking someone is trustworthy that isn't).

IMecca, i think this is good but bad at the same time. How would a mod verify upgrade service? Receive a pin? lol. As normalcy said, people could get verified or whatever and then go on a scamming spree?

 

No, just no.

Look at Trey i am, he was banned with over 200 vouches, with a trusted upgrade shop. I know he wasn't banned for scamming upgrades, but proving to be verified doesn't mean they won't scam, nor cut down a bit.

 

Aroxes, couldnt have said it better. No matter how many vouches, people still resort to it.

 

Stop, before I report your post for spamming(Sarcasm..) ;l Fag.. and yes. Receive a pin. For Free; No. Im not saying EVERYONE deserves this feature. I agree that there should be a number of vouches, posts, etc. But not newcomers.. Its annoying.

 

No support simply because I've bought an upgrade from a guy yesterday and he wasnt a full time upgrade seller. Just a person who needed some RSGP and bought 2 upgrades to swap.

Just go first to highly trusted people until you're trusted enough yourself to let others go first.

 

Its not going to happen. Limiting our members because others cannot trade smart is only going to hurt the site more then it would help.
