Tell him how you feel man, bromance isn't gay, as long as you are comfortable about your sexuality and he is too, it will work out good, but then again, have you noticed him hanging around "new" people? because as much as i hate to say it, drug use often leads to this kind of behavior, but yeah, just talk to him, tell him how you REALLY feel.

I have a "best friend" and I can tell when he's depressed now he is like a brother to me, you could try going around to his house instead of just testing him and what not, that way he has to talk to you face to face.

 

He could be playing hard to get.
