GFX F**ked up in rs only

So i got my old dell running and now theres a problem.

The graphix in RS arent working properly. It only happens in rs, i tried different browser based games and different browsers and its the same every time, GFX in rs is fucked while any other game is fine. What could cause this?

 

Graphics card, remove, clean it, then put It back in. Do this while computer is off. Then try.

 

Wow never seen this be4, u should maybe look in the FAQ'S on rs or somthing
or post on the rs forums.

 

This was happening to a friend of mine.
Try the different settings in the video options.

Go to My Computer, and double click on Local Disk C:. There should be a folder there called .jagex_cache_32 or something like that. Right click it and delete it, then try to start Runescape again.

GFX card is integrated in the motherboard.

I tried all of them and it still does the same thing.

 

Same thing happens on my school computers, they changed the engine or something so you need a newer computer

 

Could be the graphics card overheating, install the latest drivers for it if you can. Or reinstalling them, along with installing latest java.

If it's integrated, perhaps upgrade? ( You can get a perfectly good one for about $50, or cheaper if need be )

Why would it only look like that with rs tho? It looks like that at the login screen also, but when its loading it looks fine.

I wont be able to get a new one for a few weeks, thats if the GFX card is the problem. The driver is up to date. Java is up to date.

Im going to see if my other computer is integrated GFX, if not ill take that card out of it and put it in this too check if its the GFX card.

 

Well what else have you tried then? Other games? Did you try another browser?

 

Your graphics card not not support the version of java your using.

then update to lastest java jdk.

 

Maybe your Dell is to old for RS and the Graphics card isn't compatible.

 

I was thinking the same thing. im going to try to get an older version of java.

Ive tried IE, FF, and SK, its the same for all of them.
