Get rid of duel arena scamming guides

Simply get rid of them. Sythe doesn't "allow" scamming, but isn't selling guides on how to scam someone through duel arena a form of scamming? I don't see a difference between both, you're cheating the other person of stuff.
Simply get rid of all guides that give you "an advantage" during a duel.

I'm iffy on the subject.

Bug abuse is apparently a huge part of staking, and as far as I know, always has been. Although people may rage over someone knowing a better bug than them, any serious staker knows the risks (and probably has a few tricks of their own).

I can see how it'd be perceived as scamming, but at the same time, it's part of the sport.

 

If you're banning duel arena scamming guides, might as well ban everything about luring.

 

Its part of the game just allow it.

No. You have to be a really big idiot to get lured, to get scammed in duel arena there is no way to prevent it.

It is part of the game, but so is scamming.. Although you can prevent scamming.

dueling someone thats doing a glitch = scamming.

All the guides are selling you is information. What you choose to do with it is the deciding factor, i agree is some situations glitching is completely unfair. But if the person your dueling is exploiting a lessor glitch than its fair game in my books.

This isn't going to stop people using glitches in the duel arena... You may as well not allow the people selling "Wildy glitches" since it is an advantage too. Luring is more of a scam, you need to actually talk to someone and making them believe that you are legit.
It isn't scamming, you know the risks. As soon as you enter the wildy you know there are risks of being killed and losing your cash.

 

Yes, and as you walk down Varrock square and someone GLITCHES THE GAME and kills you for your items, you know the risk of not having everything banked.

Exactly, if sythe keeps the staking guides, then it's basically encouraging scamming..

 

I think it would be stupid to remove them because I don't really see it as a big deal and essentially a fun part of the game (bug abusing). On the other hand though if you want to keep scamming out of sythe but keep that, then it's just hypocritical. So i support because it's better to remove something like that than be a hypocrite. The site should stand by the morals it's set.

So far the support has brought out much better points than the opposition. All the opposition has said so far is to say "luring" is the the same "glitching".

And they've brought nothing up to prove that. And the support have brought up huge points. Luring is preventable, glitching is not.
